Backcountry meals, from lunch on day 2 through lunch on day 4, are included. For the remaining days, town is 10 minutes from our base, with ample restaurants and grocery store options. Available for student use are two standard refrigerators, a toaster oven and microwave. Most students bring camp stoves to cook within a budget under our outdoor cooking pavilion.
Camping or sheltered bunk space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. You may also camp in your vehicle. Lodging and backcountry camping fees are included in the tuition.

Contact Rachel at 828-293-5384 to authorize the release of your contact information to other students in the course who may be interested in carpooling.
