Course Logistics

Meals:
Meals and accommodations are provided in the Total Course Cost, from dinner on Friday, Oct 20, through lunch on Sunday, Oct 22. Maine Huts and Trails staff will prepare and provide all meals for course participants. Please email main@landmarklearning.edu with any dietary restrictions-preferences so that we can make sure Maine Huts and Trails is aware of your requests.

Lodging/Camping:
Included in the Total Course Cost. This course will run at the Flagstaff Hut in the Maine Huts and Trails system. There is a 1.8 mile flat hike required from the trail head to access the hut. Participants can walk along the single track trail which follows the edge of Flagstaff Lake to the hut. The lodging includes heated bunk rooms. Pillows are provided. Bring a sleeping bag and additional gear in a backpack for the hike in. Please see the gear list for more details.

Transportation:
The trailhead for the Flagstaff Hut is 1.8 miles from the Hut. You may leave your car at the trailhead and walk in to the hut with your sleeping bag and gear in a backpack. There is no parking available at the hut. For an additional fee ($50 round-trip), you can sign up for an optional gear shuttle provided by Maine Huts and Trails at the trailhead at 5:00pm on Friday. Gear must be in a backpack. You can select this option in your course registration. Maine Huts and Trails will shuttle your backpacks back to the trailhead from the hut on Sunday at the end of the course.
